ABOUT THE
PERKY POETS SOCIETY
We meet at The Bellville Perk, on the third Monday
of each month at 1:00 p.m. Our goals are to promote poetry in our community, to encourage the writing and improvement of poetry by sharing and mutual critiquing, and to work toward publishing a collection of the members' poetry. In
support of our goals, we conduct periodic poetry
contests
and have published a chapbook with
submissions
from our members.
When we meet, we share any poetry we have been working on, or something older, perhaps. Sometimes we just read a poem we like, from a well-known poet! |
